On June 25th, 2009 we lost the greatest entertainer of all-time. The media chooses to focus on the problems and controversies of Michael Jackson’s life, as if they were expected to do any less. I choose to respect the otherworldly genius of the man.
Listening to the radio and nightclub tributes being played non-stop, it sinks in that Mike had more hit songs than anyone. His legacy is simply unmatched. This past Friday at Sutra Lounge, DJ Morse Code gave The King of Pop a fitting tribute by spinning rare grooves, hits, b-sides and more.
