FUCK COLUMBUS

trail-of-tears

VENOM BY KHALID STRICKLAND a.k.a. BLACK PACINO

It’s Columbus Day but there ain’t shit to celebrate about rape, torture and genocide.

In years past I would say this to whomever was within earshot.  But now I’ve got a blog with thousands of viewers around the world.  So I’ll take one moment to break away from my regularly scheduled programming to say…

FUCK CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS.

columbus

Straight up… fuck that racist, syphilis-carryin’, no-sense-of-direction-havin’ motherfucker.  If Columbus were alive today he’d probably work for the Corcoran Real Estate Group, removing people of color from Harlem and divvying up the neighborhood for these brand new, European migrants.

Kids, don’t believe the hype about Christopher Columbus.  Yeah, here in the United States we celebrate this grimy son-of-a-bitch and throw parades in his honor.  But do the knowledge and learn the sad truth about Christopher fuckin’ Columbus.  He did the indigenous peoples of North America dirty.

Shout-out to the surviving Native Americans and rest in peace to those who were slaughtered as a result of that devil’s inability to read a goddamn map.  I’ll bring this post to a close because my fingers will bleed if I bang these keys any harder.

Amen Brotha. Discovered? The New World? You mean the place that already had muthafuckas living there in harmony with THEIR environment?

I went to St. Augustine, Fl on a mini-vacation with mi lady back in August (Had to keep it within the state, it’s a recession). And the tour guide said that back when Juan Ponce De Leon “discovered” St. Augustine, the average Spaniard lived to be 45, and the average Native lived to be 80. Now you tell me, who seems to have been more civilized?

Shout out to all the descendants of the First Nations, I am sorry that your peoples got robbed like that.

Christopher Columbus has got to be the most misunderstood, misrepresented, and mistaken man in history. He is revered by Italians – even though ironically, Italy laughed at him when he dared to claim that the world was round, thus forcing him to go to Spain in order to find financial backing for his trip to the “New World.” He is credited with discovering an already-inhabited “America” – even though he never set foot in what is now the United States. (The Caribbean was as close as he got to us.) He thought that he had landed in India – which is why we still erroneously refer to Native Americans as “Indians.” And he paved the way for future English and Spanish settlers to invade the Western Hemisphere, some of whom played a part in murdering, raping, and eradicating our ancestors. HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY Y’ALL!

I heard that jewel of a line many many moons ago during one of countless ciphers i’ve been blessed to take part in through the ages….Unfortunately the name of the MC to whom credit is due is lost in the cloud of E&J vapor and Ganja smoke that exists in the dark corners of my mind…
Whoever though….he hit the nail on the head with that one for sure.
        Simple but quite clever.

    Hello,

Honesty,,,, I don’t know who dicovered Japan,,,.
NO, right answer is “I don’t remember,,,,” maybe.

By the way which country has holiday the name
“xxx was discovered this country” ?
    If its only USA?

I suggest to make new holiday:
    President (Obama)’s birthday
    like Japan (lol).
    But we don’t have presidents’,
    it’s emperor’s birthday tho’.

,,, then, everydays are holidays !!

    • October 15, 2009 at 3:09 am #

you’re right, kaoru. i don’t think any other country has a holiday for the person who discovered it. that’s because nobody remembers or really gives a fuck lol. maybe some countries do it, i don’t know for sure.

but columbus did NOT discover america but people here celebrate like he did. jesus christ was not born on christmas either (december 25th) and santa claus & christmas trees really don’t have a damn thing to do with jesus. most americans rather live a lie because it’s more comfortable than facing the truth.

ya’all celebrate the emperor’s birthday in jpn? really? i didn’t know that. like… whoever is in office at that time… ya’all celebrate his birthday? wow. he must really have a big ego. do you have to buy him a gift too? LOL

  8. October 15, 2009 at 6:55 am #

    Hello again,

I really understand all you are saying, my homie.
    Thank you.

I dont think Japanese celebrate his=emperor’s birthday
    it’s Holiday 23rd Dec. now.

They are just thinking “DAY-OFF” = do not have to go working.
But it doesn’t mean nothing to me tho’.

I wrote about this my blog before,
“Why Japanese celebrate for Christamas ?”
= Japanes think it’s special day, buying gift to GF or BF,
take them to dinner or doing special thing,,,, kind of things.
Some Japanese started go to school of Gospel,,,
    Can you believe that?
Off course we do not have the holiday “Christmas”.
“Christmas” is nothing here because most of Japanese ain’t Christians.

23rd Dec. is before the evening of Christmas, right?

I think peoples who celeblate Columbus’ day
are just like Japanese who believe to do something
= above I wrote on Christmas,,,.

I learned Columbus just done some but just it.
Peoples were already there, there is called U.S.A. now.
Even if they are called Native American
because U.S.A. is called America now, right?
If they could African, Japanese, Spanish and others
    You know what I mean?

Beside I read history books but I don’t know which book is saying trueth,
    you know what I mean?

Don’t forget “good for purchase (busisness)” is Christmas in Japan, too.

    Thank you.

    • October 17, 2009 at 4:13 pm #

Like you said, Kaoru, Christmas is just a way to get people to spend money.

That’s what most holidays are. That’s why Thanksgiving & Christmas are so close together… it’s money season.

Like Easter… what the fuck do rabbits & eggs have to do with Jesus? Nothing. It’s a way to get you to buy chocolate candy, eggs & new “Easter clothes.” Some die-hard Christians don’t even celebrate Easter. It’s some made-up shit, like Kwanzaa. Uh oh… I KNOW I’m going to get a lot of people mad with THAT one.

I used to celebrate Kwanzaa, tho. And I thought it was an ancient holiday from Africa that originated centuries ago. WRONG! It was made by a black activist named Ron Karenga in 1966, to give black people something to celebrate & be proud of… which is GOOD. And he did combine a bunch of real African tradition in there.

But still, I was a lil’ disappointed when I found that out. :-(

“I think peoples who celeblate Columbus’ day
are just like Japanese who believe to do something”

You’re right. And that is why I like chatting with you, my friend. It’s always interesting.

Yes, I know about Japanese gospel. In fact, there’s a Japanese gospel choir (group) in Harlem. They sound pretty good, tho. When you hear them outside, you’d think they were Black LOL

You can never tell which history books are the truth. None of us will ever know the truth about a bunch of shit. All we can do really is guess. No one was around when dinosaurs were alive, so scientists to sit there & guess, they’ll never really know. Dinosaurs could’ve had fur for all they know. Until they clone one of some Jurassic Park shit, it’s educated guesses. And The Bible has been chopped & screwed more than a mixtape from Texas. King James added his version, so it ain’t pure either.

The only people who are native to America were the Native Americans. The rest of us are immigrants. Black people didn’t volunteer to come to the U.S.A. We were promised a free cruise across the Atlantic & it turned out to be bullshit.

But like Soulja Boy said, “Shout out to the slave masters! Without them, we wouldn’t be here gettin all these tattoos & ice!” Well said, young brother.

that equation sums it up quite nicely.
    ’nuff said.

are the PRO-COLUMBUS folks gonna comment?

  12. October 18, 2009 at 12:31 pm #

    Hello again K,

Thank you for your kindness again.

Thats why I like old school hip hop not Soulja Boy
(but I like his another beats tho’ lol).

I can imagine easliy and mayby so true
E40 said “Jesus Christ had(s) dreads and shake them”

    all this fact or not.
    and I’ve never saw.

all are messengers’ game I think.

Not here to argue, only here to supplement the discussion with the knowledge I have acquired during my journey. Please read very closely, if you aren’t already! I am not debating the validity of any belief structures. I am merely attempting to explain the connections. One of the most difficult part of understanding religious or spiritual scripture and doctrine comes from misunderstanding the symbols and the usage of literary devices such as metaphor and allegory to communicate a story which reflects the group, in this case, Christianity’s unique perspective and philosophy. Peace.

First I want to address a question asked by Black Pacino-”Like Easter… what the fuck do rabbits & eggs have to do with Jesus?”

As you may well know in a political maneuver to unify the ‘pagan hordes’ under various regions of the Roman Empire, Christianity was founded as the official religion.. “En Hawk Signo Wonka”- In the sign we conquer! This ‘sign being the Crucifix. Now, in order for the convergence of numerous pagan belief systems into the Empire approved Christianity to be successful, Christianity had to involve pagan symbolism. And here is the basic connection between The Christ, rabbits and eggs…The significance of Easter is The Christ rose from the dead. We need to understand that rising from the dead metaphorically signals Life, vitality, growth. The egg has long been a symbol of life, vitality, and growth. And the rabbit is also because of its tremendous promiscuity considered a symbol for life, vitality and growth. Now we can see why the rabbit and eggs were chosen as symbols for the Christian Holiday. Because these symbols conveyed the meaning and significance of Easter from a Christian perspective to those who are not Christian I.e. Pagans, that would more readily make the ideals of Christianity accessible to them and in turn would gain their support for Christianity. Thus ensuring manifest destiny a la En Hawk Signo Wonka.
For further information about “En Hawk Signo Wonka” just run a search on it…anyone interested can also look into the Council of Nicea. If you want a hip hop version check Ras Kas-NAture of the threat.

Critically it was a very keen political maneuver, despite my obvious disdain for such events. What we are left with from history allows us to trace an outline of certain tendencies and the overall effectiveness of certain strategies, among other things…basically we can see how ‘they’ operate. Furthermore if we are sharper enough we can not only observe ‘them’ (as they report themselves to be) we can also encourage the development of philosophies and strategies which would render their strategies ineffective (Once you know how the trick is performed … you strip the magician of “power”) In addition we also then have the foreknowledge of their strategies, we can defend against these philosophical/ideological tricks and even study to find inherent weakness. Weakness that can be used against such weaponry in this quiet war.

Additionally the timing of Easter occurs around the spring solstice signaling the ‘resurrection of life’

Remember, Columbus never set foot in what is presently the United States. The only present-day U.S. territory he reached was Puerto Rico. It was the settlers from England and the conquistadors from Spain who came AFTER Columbus that really did the damage when it came to eradicating indigenous people across North, Central, and South America as well as the Caribbean. Columbus may have opened the door, but those guys tore down the house!
