During an online foray, I found pics of a random Asian model who shall remain nameless. She was solidly built and out of curiosity, I scrolled through the comments for a people’s verdict. Most were the usual thirsty fare but one dude wrote to no one particular:
“Ya’all think (so & so) is dope? Check out Kat Yun Marie. She’s the thickest Asian.”
Well, I like to stay in the thick of things so I did some homework and BINGO! Dude’s commentary was on the money: Kat Yun Marie is a Blasian model with a body to be reckoned with. Good Lord. My eyes were crazy-glued to this exotic beauty from Detroit. It may be “Cold in the D” but Kat and her combustible sex-appeal generate blistering heat. From head to toe, Ms. Marie is an impossibly complete and total package. Gorgeous, unforgettable face. Voluptuous buns. Ample thighs and curvy, superhuman calves. But what sealed the deal is that once we connected she was down-to-earth and pretty smart. Then I knew what had to be done.
Since it’s a new decade, perhaps it’s time for The Spizzy to crown a new queen. Kat Yun Marie is more than worthy. With appearances at Royalthickness and DymeXtreme under her belt, she has the natural tools for modeling greatness. So I’m anointing her Queen of The Spizzy as of NOW. That’s right, Thirst Mob. Black Pacino: Why and how did you get into the modeling game?
Kat Yun Marie: I started off as being a hair model for this hair stylist named Tweet. My first photo shoot was with Duane Legwork and from there Legwork saw potential and wanted to continue to work with me.
Pacino: What is your nationality?
Kat: Black and Korean.
Pacino: Great combo. What separates you from the other young ladies in the modeling game?
Kat: Well this is not a career for me as most ladies in the game. I actually want to take it further and have my own agency and manage models. I can say I do have a distinct look and people like something out of the ordinary.
Pacino: What part of your stunning body gets the most compliments?
Kat: A lot of people like my legs. Everybody always asks if I run track or something… no, they are just naturally toned.
Pacino: As a leg-man and I must say they’re magnificent. What are some of your other interests and endeavors?
Kat: I’m pretty much a simple girl (laughs). I like hanging out, traveling, and networking with interesting people. To be honest, I’m such a picky person… so I’ll like one thing and get tired of it so quickly (laughs).
Pacino: What kind of man do you like?
Kat: I love a strong-minded man; no back-bone is definitely a turn off. I really don’t have a specific type. It’s more so if I’m attracted to that guy or not. First things first, he has to be fashion literate (laughs), has to offer me more than just physical and I love a man that’s goal oriented. Oh yeeeaah… if you’re funny and goofy that’s definitely a plus because I love to laugh.
Pacino: This may be a good time for my stand-up comedy routine. What’s the worst pick-up line a dude tried on you? I bet you’ve heard them all.
Kat: Ahhhhhhhh, well I really don’t know the “worst” but the most irritating I should say is “Damn ma, you sexy as fuck! You should fuck wit’ me ‘cuz I’m a real man.” (Laughs)
Pacino: Wow, talk about lazy pick-up lines. You have a few impostors claiming to be you but their pics don’t quite stack up. Flattering or irritating?
Kat: It is more flattering than irritating. Everybody in some way copies off of someone. Obviously I’m doing something right if people want to claim they are me. (Laughs).
Pacino: With any level of success comes haters. How does Kat Yun- Marie stay hater-proof?
Kat: I give these haters no promotion, for what? That’s their job… to hate and bring someone down. Why entertain that? So I keep to myself, laugh at’ em and keep going about my day.
Pacino: You’re from “The Infamous D.” Detroit is known for being wild. From your perspective, is that a misconception or is the rep well-earned?
Kat: Hmmmm. Got to come to Detroit and see for yourself (laughs). I love my city; there’s a lot of talent here that people need to get up on, such as Big Sean, Princeton, P.L. and other well respected artists. If you show Detroit love, you will definitely get a huge return.
Pacino: Yung Berg certainly got a huge return out there. When all is said and done what would you like to accomplish in life?
Kat: Most importantly I want to be successful. I’ve been progressing and I will continue with that. Hopefully I can actually make something out of my BA in marketing, working preferably under a record label or fashion line. From there just keep going, the sky is the limit.
Pacino: You’re one of the baddest models I’ve seen and definitely the thickest Blasian. Therefore, I’m naming you new Queen of The Spizzy…your crown is in the mail. Any parting words for your loyal subjects?
Kat: Awwww, I’m flattered!! Hard work pays off!! Work hard God will truly bless you and always keep him and your family close (smiles).

But this is a democracy, after all. So long as there’s something about Kat that appeals to you (and it’s hard for her not to be appealing) then I’ve done my good deed for the day.
I’m sure if I met her in person I would try to scoop her up, she’d fit in good in my homeland of Trinidad and they’d now why I rock like a 10 karat ring.
