The cost of living in New York may be murder but the city still offers a few cheap thrills.
El Especialito is a free-of-charge, Spanish-language tabloid distributed throughout the five boroughs and some areas in New Jersey. Seems like there’s an El Especialito box on every corner. But the newspaper’s covers and centerfolds, showcasing red-hot Latina models, are what reel in the attention. People even sell back-issues on Ebay.
On the corner of Ave. B & 14th Street in L.E.S., I stumbled upon the latest issue and the foxy Latina on the cover made me do a double-take. I threw myself in reverse, pulled a few copies out of the plastic box and soaked in the sexiness.
Before this discovery, I’d never heard of Gisselle Vargas. Now I’m her new number-one fan. In fact, I’ma shuffle the starting line-up of my Fantasy Wife Team and find a place for Ms. Vargas. With her unflawed face and stunningly buxom body, she is worthy. I was going to scan a few pics but opted to do some journalistic research. Gisselle is a tough find as she has yet to saturate the internet but I eventually hit paydirt with pics from her El Especialito shoot… and more.

With all the Spanish-speakin’ folks I grew up around and mamis I’ve dated, I should know the language by now. Sadly, I don’t and couldn’t read the interview with Gisselle from the paper. But I was able to gather some rudimentary information on this chica bonita.
In a nutshell, she’s a Telemundo and radio personality who got her start in the media business through Frederick Martinez a.k.a. El Pacha, a famous radio show host. At a blog called ZoomYork, there are photos of Gisselle with El Pacha at a radio station, although I don’t know which one.
From what I gather Ms. Vargas is a multi-talented media star on the rise.
That’s cool and everything, but her drop-dead gorgeous modeling work is what we’re concerned with as of now.
Her photos are astounding…
Gisselle looks incredible without implants or Photoshop airbrush effects.
Even though I was in a rush the other night, she stopped me cold in my tracks.
She’s special.

Damn mami is bad as hell! When I first seen the name I thought it rung a bell right away & that’s because I’m pretty positive I have seen one of the shows she does on Telumando or when of the other Spanish speaking channels there is! I have had eyes for her pretty much since then! Didn’t know she modeled at all to though! I got to agree with the 1st comment to that black outfit on her is in the words of Black Rob “Like WHOA!”
Yeah, I love Telemundo. Hollywood puts J-Lo on a pedestal but there’s like 100 J-Lo’s on Telemundo… many of ‘em are even better. And you gotta love Telemundo ‘cuz they know what sells… T&A.
I always watched a show on channel 47 called “Caliente” where they’d party at different beaches in the U.S. & the Caribbean… with the BADDEST chicks you ever saw dancin’ in bikinis. Simple concept but Good Lord!!! Now I gotta look out for Gisselle on there.

I went to summer school AND night school for Spanish, had Puerto Rican & Dominican neighbors all my life, my Grandfather is Puerto Rican, although I’ve never met the PR side of my fam… and I STILL don’t know the language fluidly. I’m a bit slow, Ruby.
