Just when I thought rap had completely lost it’s balls…
I discovered L.E.P. BOGUS BOYS, my new favorite rap group, at The Smoking Section. Emo rap gets all the shine nowadays but this tough-as-nails duo from Chicago keeps it gutter. Moonie and Count spit authentic street science over hard beats, not the soft shit DJ Premier refers to as “Tinkerbell Music.”
DJ DRAMA hosts L.E.P.’s latest mixtape, Don’t Feed Da Killaz Vol. 3 (Gangsta Grillz Special Edition). I hate fluffy commercial rap so my prayers were answered with this uncompromising masterpiece, which officially gets The Spizzy’s stamp of approval. These guys don’t give a fuck about program directors and make some of the best music I’ve heard in a long, long time.
Below the jump is a download link, tracklist and three hot L.E.P. Bogus Boys music videos. Lord, thank you for delivering new street shit laced with skill and creative vision. I was losing faith in rap.
