Black Pacino: What is the origin FleshDrive? Who’s idea was it?
Micheal Gruosso: It was mine. It seemed like a good idea that was an obvious move towards the future.
Pacino: How did FleshDrive end up working with major porn sites?
Grousso: I worked with an adult company and got back by them to develop the FleshDrive. They had some contacts. But since FD has grown so fast, other companies wanted to jump on fast.
Pacino: Do you put together your own compilations as well as titles from major studios?
Grousso: We own some of our content, yes.
Pacino: For somebody on the fence about coppin’ one, what are the advantages of the FleshDrive?
Grousso: Well the advantages are simple… you can carry it around with you, you do not need the internet, it won’t leave any history on your computer. There is no buffering time. It works on Xbox360, PS3 and TVs. It holds over 5 hours of hardcore porn. Sound good?
Pacino: How have you been promoting your product?
Grousso: We do advertising in adult retail magazines as well as have a booth at different adult events. We were mentioned on The Howard Stern Show and we appear in Maxim (magazine) this month. We have appeared in some journals, interviews, etc. Otherwise the normal routes, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Pacino: Is the popularity of free tube sites an obstacle for FleshDrive?
Grousso: They are an obstacle for everyone in the adult industry who are trying to make money. They offer things for sale for FREE. Not easy to compete with that. But they were one of the reasons I wanted to make this product also. I feel like technology moves faster than people can keep up with, so I figured the younger generation from 18-25 would really like my product because of the discreetness and just simplicity of it. The new drives we have coming out also come with a web browser on it, as well as an email address you can only access through the drive.
Pacino: What genre of porn is your most popular so far?
Grousso: It’s not the genre as much as it is the studio… and that studio is Elegant Angel.
Pacino: When all is said and done, what are your goals with FleshDrive?
Grousso: To sell over 10 million.
Pacino: Any other upcoming projects we should know about? What’s on the horizon for FleshDrive?
Grousso: New studios, new deals. Hustler drives, Justin Slayer drives, Muffia drives, Legend drives and much, much more.
