PHOTOS BY NICK SAGLIMBENI
Nick Saglimbeni has long been a photographer I hold in high esteem; the man is truly a master of his craft. That’s why I’m stoked about his groundbreaking new venture, World’s Most Beautiful, the first magazine shot entirely in 3-D. Salgimbeni conjured up this innovative angle and WMB’s maiden voyage starts with a bang: Kim Kardashian, who absolutely loves working with Saglimbeni, is the cover girl and headliner of its premier issue.
As reported by E! News:
“I work with Nick all the time and he is my favorite photographer,” Kim said. “He just makes everyone feel so comfortable and confident…He just wants to have fun and make beautiful photos.”
But the first time she saw her bodacious self in 3-D, it was “magical.”
“It’s like you’re popping out of the screen!” Kim said in the interview that accompanies her spread in World’s Most Beautiful, available Aug. 8 in a limited-edition print version for $4.99, as well as for free on iPads, iPhones and Android phones.
Any standard red-cyan anaglyph glasses will do: Either wear the pair you swiped from the theater or you can get a free pair—there’s a small shipping charge—from the magazine’s website, WMB3D.com.
Even without special glasses, Kim K’s booty pops off the page… in 3-D she must really look awesome. The rest of WMB’s cast is solid as a rock: Jessica Burciaga, Alana Marie, Melanie Iglesias and Mallika Sherawat are among the other models that make this mag worth copping.
Check out the videos below for a sneak peek of the World’s Most Beautiful trailer, as well as viewer reaction to the product. As an admirer Saglimbeni’s work since the early days of SHOW, I’m glad to see him expand the franchise and wish him nothing but success with his innovative new endeavor.
