Goretex, who was a member of Non Phixon once upon a time, is back on the scene after a bit of a hiatus. Sounds like he kept his verbal blades sharp for “Lord of Plagues,” the new single from his upcoming album, Electric Lucifer. The beat is produced by Sunday and damn… it’s pretty sinister. Music to murder by. Goretex knows how to strike a nerve with visuals, so the promotional video is laced with classic footage of cults and shit like that. Watching David Koresh’s compound burn to the ground never gets stale.
Electric Lucifer drops some time in May and from what I hear, Brownsville’s own Smoove Da Hustler is making a contribution. Keep a close ear to the streets for the return of Goretex, who now goes by the alias Gore Elohim.
