Unless you’ve been in a sensory deprivation chamber for the past few weeks, you already know that former president Bill Clinton posed in a photo with two adult film starlets at a fundraiser in Monaco, sparking a powder keg of controversy and media coverage. One of those said starlets is leggy blond Tasha Reign, who is also the May 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Month. Tasha’s hardcore performances earned her a Best New Starlet nomination at the 2012 XBIZ Awards, where she also served as a Trophy Girl. She is a weekly reviewer for Rock Confidential magazine and her official website, TashaReign.com, is up and running with exclusive content. As her stock rises, so does her follower count on Twitter (@TashaReign). Everything’s clicking on all cylinders.
I recently had the pleasure of interrogating Tasha Reign on her Bill Clinton encounter; a slippery slope that led to other interesting questions. By the time I stopped recording, we had discussed her upcoming projects, things that turn her on and other juicy tidbits. Check out our neat lil’ Q&A session below.
Black Pacino: How did you end up at the fundraiser in Monaco?
Tasha Reign: Well, the owner of Penthouse invites Penthouse Pets like myself… May 2011 Centerfold… and all the other girls go out to parties often, especially on vacations. It’s like a little break from working. We work all the time so we like to go out and have some fun times. (Clinton) was a guest at this gala and I was a guest. We donated thousands upon thousands of dollars; (Clinton) himself and also the table that we were at… and all to wonderful charities that had to do with the environment and sustainable resources and water and… just all these amazing great things. That’s what I was thinking about the whole time. It was beautiful.
President Bill Clinton was there; it was so nice to have that opportunity. One thing led to another and one of my girlfriends asked me to take a photo with him and from there I hopped in the picture since I was standing right near there and I thought nothing of it, actually. I thought my mom and grandma will be excited that I met the former President; that’s what I thought. And so now it’s become this. I just think it’s a good deal to clear up everything and explain that not only did nothing occur, but what a gentleman he was and how we should be treated like normal individuals who would take a photo with him if they had a chance as well.
Pacino: Is it true that he was looking over at your table, checking ya’all out?
Tasha: No, he was just a gentleman. (He was) personable and looking around the entire room as we spoke just like any person in a high power position is trained to do and yeah… charismatic and handsome and a gentleman to everyone.
Pacino: Do you think he knew who you guys were and that’s why he was looking over at your table? Maybe he’s a fan?
Tasha: No, I think he looks around at the room and he saw everybody. He was returning eye contact with everyone… it wasn’t at all about us. We just think he’s handsome and cute and we were very honored to be there. I think a majority of men enjoy adult entertainment so that’s fine but no… I think he was just being a host. We asked to take a photo and he said yes just like he did to every single civilian. And that’s what I want to make clear here. We are citizens and we legally work through companies and I don’t see what the big deal is. I think we should be more accepted.
Pacino: Well, people jump to conclusions because Bill has a bit of a history.
Tasha: With what? It has nothing to do with adult film actresses, that’s for sure.
Pacino: Not with adult film actresses but…
Tasha: No, it’s quite a generalization. The media has a big paintbrush and they just like to generalize everything… over any girl that is an attractive woman. I’m unsure about the association. I personally see no association whatsoever with that. I think it’s offensive in a way because it’s become such a controversial situation. But for me, it’s also an opportunity to say… you know what? Everybody needs to treat us like the actresses and actors that we are and realize that it’s 2012. Wake up. Everybody watches adult entertainment and if they don’t, they should.
Pacino: Since we’re talking politics here, what would you say to somebody like Rick Santorum? Before he pulled out the Presidential race, one of his big campaign points was to ban pornography. I think he would’ve lost if he did that.
Tasha: I think would definitely out him by saying I think unfortunately, statistically, pornography extremists are usually and typically the number one consumer. The states that have such strict laws on pornography are the ones that consume the most, so it’s an interesting correlation if you look into it. And I would say it’s probably something that he himself engages in on the regular. I don’t think everybody takes an interest in this particular subject and people are like sheep, they like to just go along with what everybody says.
Pacino: So we’re not going to see any porn parodies featuring Tasha Reign with Bill Clinton or something?
Tasha: No. I honestly have a lot of respect for him and I don’t want any negativity to be associated with him because of adult (film). I feel bad for anybody that is judged by association they don’t want to be and I think it’s important to clear up nothing happened. It was a “Hi, how are you?” and that’s it.
Pacino: You know at some point somebody’s going to approach you with a script… something Presidential. Lisa Ann did Sarah Palin. But anyway, let’s talk a little bit about you. I see you’ve been doing a lot of things. Didn’t you win the XBiz Award for Best New Starlet?
Tasha: Well, I didn’t receive that award but I was nominated, which is an honor in and of itself. I was also the trophy girl for the night. Just to be involved was an honor, so that was great.
Pacino: What inspired you to enter the adult entertainment industry?
Tasha: I have always looked up to nude models and centerfolds and thinking they are the ultimate, confident, liberated woman. I feel like there’s something so beautiful and so powerful about sexuality. For me, I always had those role models and when I turned 18 I was like, “I want to pose nude.” So I did for Playboy a couple of times in a couple of different pictorials and I was ready to take it to the next level and make movies. That’s how I got my start.
Pacino: What would you consider to be your most attractive feature?
Tasha: If you’re walking next to me I think you notice my eyes but I have great tits, I have great ass, I have great legs… there’s really nothing I’m not confident about. So I think my…. Let’s see… my butt and my eyes. I like that combination.
Pacino: That’s a winning combination. What are Tasha Reign’s turn-ons and turn-offs?
Tasha: I’m turned on by confidence; I really love that in a guy. And I’m excited to start doing anal stuff… that’s exciting, my first anal I’m going to shoot this Thursday, actually. I like hot girls, I like boys, I like multiple guys, multiple girls. I’m all about it. I love my job. My first anal scene is for TashaReign.com, my site just launched. It’s very exclusive. Actually, that particular scene will be at my website but first it’ll be on DVD. So you’ll have to buy the movie or be part of TashaReign.com to see all the behind-the-scenes and the full content.
Pacino: Outside of the adult entertainment, what are some other things you enjoy?
Tasha: I love yoga, I do that every chance possible. I go to school and I spend a lot of time and me time and I’m just a California girl at heart.
Pacino: Any final thoughts for our viewers?
Tasha: Follow me on Twitter @TashaReign because shows a lot about my personality and I update it all day long. I’ll be performing at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Cleveland on June 15th. I’ll also be at Deja Vu in Toledo, Ohio on June 16th.
